Cupping, or cupping therapy, is actually an ancient practice, dating back thousands of years. If you’ve seen the video of these glass cups being lit on fire and sucking onto your back like an octopus, you might wonder what in the world is going on. This vacuum effect stems from the Stone Age, when men used hollowed out animal horns to treat boils. These were used to suck the toxins out of snakebites and skin lesions.
